China Glaze Peonies & Park Avenue

Today I am showing you a skittlette featuring one of the SPRING pinks from China Glaze.

It's called Peonies & Park Avenue. I took my style inspiration for this manicure from Sammy the Nailasaurus.

Firstly, I applied the pink creme to my thumb, index, and middle nail.I then used Zoya Tomoko for the other two nails. Last I wanted to stamp a nail on each hand so I took out one of my Bundle Monster plates of 2011 and stamped the full nail image of swirly circles in white.

I love the skittlette style. It's fun to mix and match polish and at the same time make more use of all my polish.

Tell me what you like, do you prefer a manicure all one color or a skittlette? What about stamping, the same stamp on each nail, or mixin' it up?

Thank you for reading.

China Glaze swatch & review

Here are pics of my swatches of China Glaze At Vase Value and Don't Be a Flake.

I used 3 coats for full coverage with the light mint creme from the Spring City Flourish collection. The formula was a bit difficult to work with, as there was a lot of streakiness, however, it did seem to level out.

After I applied that, I wanted to create a single glitter sandwich on my ring finger with China Glaze Surprise glitter called Don't Be a Flake. This glitter is packed with copper, light blue and black hex glitters in a clear base. Application was a breeze as I applied 3 strokes of glitter down the middle and each side of the nail.So one coat really.Very nice coverage since I don't believe it's meant to be a full coverage glitter.I love this type of glitter polish because it makes a great glitter sandwich.

The only thing I would have to add with regards to the glitters in the Surprise collection, is that I wish these had been milky-based glitters.I would love to see a whole collection of milky glitters from China Glaze.

Thanks for reading.

Some stamping

Here's a stamp mani I did recently. I have had some success with large squishy stamper, and since I love animal prints I did a mani with one of my Bundle Monster plates.Love all of these images so a skittle seemed like fun! :-)

Zoya Spring press release

China Glaze Crinkled Chrome swatches

Hello.Long time no postie.:-)

Sorry to have been gone so long.I am away uploading this post from my phone at a public wireless connection.

I just want to say I've missed blogging alot.I tried to leave it alone as long as I could, however, I find I miss it too much.

I have been undergoing alot of personal growth in my life.Still trying to grow my natural nails out, and reading Loodie, Loodie, Loodie for lots of info on that subject.Sorry I can't link to her blog. You can google it.She is a scientist, and has done some serious research on nail hardeners, flexibility, etc.Quite a read!

Back to the subject.I received these polishes for review. The pink one is I'm Chromatic and the purple one is Crush, Crush Baby.

I had the silver one too, but the bottle shattered in transit.

These are one coaters, very easy to apply. They are a mixture of metallic with small particle bar and round glitter.

I hear there's a BOGOFREE at Sally until February 27th on some polishes. If you find these, they are definitely worth adding to your collection. :-)

Lots of love to you all ♡♥♡
